Job summary

SageWest Health Care in Fremont County, Wyoming, operates two hospitals and a Wind River clinic in Riverton. The Clinic-Certified Medical Assistant will support patient care in the ambulatory clinic, maintain exam room supplies, help ensure smooth patient flow, and assist in a safe, organized environment.

Reporting to the Practice Manager, the CMA must demonstrate competency in clinical tasks, communicate effectively, and adapt to varying daily workloads.

Qualifications

• National Certification or Registration as a Medical Assistant through an accredited body.
• High School Diploma/GED diploma.
• BLS on first day or to be assigned by the Learning Center.
• Demonstrated knowledge of and ability to apply age specific principles of growth and development and life stages to meet each patient’s needs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory of examination/procedure room supplies.
• Assist in organizing efficient patient flow and the clinic environment.
• Demonstrate competency in skills related to patient care.
• Respond to emergencies and changes in workload as directed.
