Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Current BLS certification preferred; medical assisting certification required.
• 1 year of clinical office experience preferred and ability to take manual blood pressure.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians and caregivers to deliver appropriate treatment in ambulatory care.
• Communicate effectively with care team, patients and families.
• Assist in onboarding and education of nursing staff within the department.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and resources to meet care needs.
• Document accurately in the EMR and maintain medication/storage procedures.
