The US Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to support direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or physician. The role includes observing patient conditions, recording changes, and contributing to holistic care plans for Veterans.

Applicants must meet basic nursing education requirements and maintain licensure as an LPN/LVN in the applicable state, with compliance to VA policies for grandfathering where applicable.

Competenze

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• English proficiency required for direct patient care.
• Graduate of an approved Practical/Vocational nursing program.
• LPN/LVN licensure in the applicable state, with any grandfathering provisions if applicable.
• Knowledge of standard nursing practices and patient care procedures.

• Observe, record, and report changes in patient condition, including via in-person or virtual care.
• Assist in development and revision of patient-driven holistic care plans.
• Provide nursing care under the supervision of an RN or MD/DO as part of the patient care Teamlet.
• Communicate with patients and families to support care delivery and education.
