Cleveland Clinic Akron General Bath Health and Wellness Center is hiring an LPN to support the Primary Care team in Akron. You will assist with patient care under the supervision of an RN, physician, or other clinicians, contribute to a welcoming, high‑quality care environment, and help manage routine visits and preventive services.

The role emphasizes teamwork, bedside nursing, and ongoing skill development within the Cleveland Clinic Health System.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an approved school of Practical Nursing.
• Current Ohio license as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).

Aufgaben

• Provide patient care activities under the direction of an RN, Physician, Optometrist and/or Podiatrist.
• Collect and document objective/subjective data and observations about patients.
• Complete nursing assessments and report all data.
• Implement the current nursing care plan, medication or treatment and communicate patients’ responses.
• Observe patients for adverse reactions to medications or treatments.
• Perform routine laboratory tests.
• Educate patients and family members.
• Participate in the departmental orientation of new employees, share knowledge and provide guidance when assigned.
