Penn Medicine in Lancaster, PA seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide nursing services in a provider's office. You will care for patients across pediatric to geriatric groups under RN supervision, ensuring high-quality patient care and adherence to licensure.

Qualifications

• Completion of a LPN educational program.
• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license issued by PA State Board of Nursing.
• American Heart Association CPR certification.
• 1–2 years of nursing experience in a primary or specialty care physician’s office.
• Prior triage, emergency room, cardiac care, intensive care or other related specialty nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing services to patients at a provider's office.
• Care for patients across pediatric (infant to 12), adolescent (13–17), adult (18–64) and geriatric (>64) groups.
• Provide patient care under the direction of the Registered Nurse and within the licensure.
• Contribute as a compassionate team member in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Summary:

• To provide nursing services to patients at a provider's office. Patient care includes care to patients in following age group: pediatric (infant to 12 years), adolescent (13 to 17 years), adult (18 to 64 years) and geriatric (over 64 years).Provides patient care under the direction of the Registered Nurse and within the auspices of the licensure

Minimum Required Qualifications:

• Completion of a LPN educational program
• Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse LPN , issued by the PA State Board of Nursing
• American Heart Association CPR certification
• One 1 to Two 2 years of nursing experience in a primary or specialty care physician’s office.
• Prior triage, emergency room, cardiac care, intensive care or other related specialty nursing experience.

Credentials:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (Required)
• Licensed Practical Nurse (Required)

Education or Equivalent Experience:

• Other
• Completion of a LPN educational programOne (1) to Two (2) years of nursing experience in a primary or specialty care physician’s office preferred.Prior triage, emergency room, cardiac care, intensive care or other related specialty nursing experience preferred.
