Job summary

Waterbury Hospital, in collaboration with UConn Health, invites applicants for a full-time Clinician Educator in the Internal Medicine Residency Program. This ambulatory faculty role emphasizes resident education and outpatient care.

You will supervise residents in outpatient clinics, develop ambulatory curriculum, lead case discussions and grand rounds, and collaborate with other faculty in a supportive learning environment.

Qualifications

• MD or DO licensed in Connecticut.
• DEA/Narc Narcotic Registration.
• Completed Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Residency.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and educate internal medicine residents in the outpatient clinic.
• Provide comprehensive patient care in the outpatient setting.
• Develop and implement curriculum for ambulatory care.
• Actively participate in case-based discussions, grand rounds, and other educational activities.
• Foster a positive learning environment and collaboration among faculty.
