Job summary

Crothall Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is hiring for a Housekeeper - Ambulatory Services at MD Anderson in Houston, TX. The role supports ambulatory healthcare facilities with cleaning and disinfection during an evening schedule (5:00 PM–12:30 PM) across full- and part-time openings; Saturday availability is required.

Responsibilities include disinfecting surfaces, dusting, mopping, restocking supplies, and maintaining clean, safe areas.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience is required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Disinfects surfaces with provided chemicals.
• Dusts and polishes furniture, vents, window sills, and ledges.
• Cleans reception glass and entrance windows.
• Moves chairs/stools, waste/linen/biohazardous bins, small equipment on wheels, scales, and other items for proper cleaning.
• Cleans floors including sweeping, dusting, mopping, and vacuuming.
• Collects and disposes of general trash and biohazardous waste.
• Replenishes soap, sanitizer, paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, and other items.
• Maintains equipment, tools and storage areas in clean and orderly condition.
• Works with alarm systems to arm and disarm.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
