Job summary

The Ambulatory Informatics Supervisor at Bristol Hospital Group oversees the informatics team and supports ambulatory electronic health systems across outpatient clinics. You will guide system updates, trainings, and documentation to ensure optimal use of EHRs and alignment with regulatory requirements.

Collaborate with clinic management and IT leadership to meet organizational goals, develop work plans, and serve as project manager for updates and implementations in the ambulatory setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum 5 years in clinical information systems support or analyst; in lieu, 3 years ambulatory clinic plus 2 years CIS support.

Responsibilities

• Supervise planning, design, implementation and maintenance of ambulatory electronic health systems across outpatient departments.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to ambulatory informatics team members.
• Complete annual performance reviews for staff.
• Develop and manage work plans; ensure milestones are met.
• Serve as project manager for updates and new implementations in ambulatory settings.
• Collaborate with IT, clinical users and leadership to align systems with goals and policies.
