Job summary

UCHealth Dermatology-Gastroenterology Clinical Pharmacist in Aurora, CO delivers ambulatory care clinical pharmacy services to optimize patient care in the clinic setting. This onsite position requires a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, and state licensure as a Pharmacist.

Qualifications

• Ambulatory clinical pharmacy practice knowledge is preferred.
• Strong collaboration with dermatology and gastroenterology teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for ambulatory clinical pharmacy practice in dermatology and gastroenterology clinics.
• Perform direct patient care duties related to medication management, consultation, and patient education.
• Drive health-system pharmacy initiatives and promote cost-effective therapy.
• Maintain accountability for outpatient pharmacy utilization.
• Serve as the medication expert for patients and health care professionals.
• Maintain consistent patient care across clinic settings.
• Ensure medications are prescribed, accurately dispensed, and administered according to best practices.
• Provide drug information and counseling to patients and caregivers.
