Job summary

VHC Health in Arlington, VA is seeking a Nurse Manager - Clinical Operations for the Primary Care Shirlington site. This leadership role coordinates ambulatory services, aligns staffing, patient care processes, and operational priorities to ensure safe, efficient, high-quality care.

The position supervises clinical staff, oversees onboarding and education, supports professional development, and collaborates with administrative and clinical leaders to optimize staffing models and resources,

Qualifications

• BSN required and RN licensure in Virginia or compact licensure.
• Minimum five (5) years of clinical RN experience in a healthcare setting.
• At least one (1) year of leadership/management experience.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee ambulatory clinical services and daily operations.
• Supervise staff, onboarding, competency validation, education, coaching, and performance feedback.
• Advance clinical quality, regulatory readiness, patient experience, and process improvements.
• Collaborate with administrative and clinical leadership to ensure staffing and resources meet patient care needs.
