Job summary

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the United States.
• Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• 6 months RN experience; 2+ years RN experience for Ambulatory Clinic PRN.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care within the ambulatory setting using the nursing process.
• Performs preliminary assessment of patients via observation and chart review.
• Evaluates unstable or complex patient care situations and implements appropriate interventions.
• Applies independent nursing judgment for care provided by self and by healthcare providers to whom care is delegated.
• Identifies teaching/learning needs and educates patients and families.
