Job summary

UVA Health seeks a capable registered nurse to join the interdisciplinary care team in Virginia. You will provide direct patient care, develop and implement treatment plans, and collaborate with patients, families, and physicians.

The role includes mentoring opportunities as you assume early leadership duties. The position requires a BSN within five years of hire, active Virginia RN licensure, and AHA BLS certification, with at least one year of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing required within 5 years of hire.
• 1 year of relevant experience.
• Licensed to Practice as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
• American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care as part of an interdisciplinary team to a variety of patients.
• Manage care and implement treatment plans with patients and families.
• Seek and provide feedback to improve clinical practice.
• Assume a beginning leadership role while seeking mentoring.
• Other duties may be assigned.
