Job summary

Patient First in Waldorf, MD is seeking a dedicated RN to join our ambulatory care team. You will provide nursing care to patients and families, assist physicians in emergencies, and create a warm, friendly atmosphere in every interaction.

A Maryland RN license, high school graduation, and strong communication skills are required. Prior clinical medication administration experience is preferred. We offer comprehensive benefits, paid leave, and competitive shift pay.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Keyboarding experience required.
• One year of clerical experience preferred.
• One year of clinical experience with administration of medications preferred.
• Licensed to practice as a Nurse in the state of Maryland.
• Employee must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Providing nursing care in the ambulatory setting to individual patients and families.
• Administering medications and knowing correct dosage, actions, and side effects of each medication administered.
• Assisting the physician in all emergency cases.
• Providing positive, warm and friendly customer service in all interactions.
• Fostering teamwork and a positive, professional atmosphere.
• Completing other duties as directed.
