Job summary

MaineHealth Medical Group in Maine's Topsham area is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Internal Medicine ambulatory team. This outpatient role focuses on preventive care, chronic disease management, patient education, and care coordination for adult patients.

As a key care team member, you will collaborate with providers and staff to deliver evidence-based care, with a flexible schedule and meaningful opportunities to impact patient health across the care continuum.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• License/Certifications: Current RN license; BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
• Experience: At least 1 year of RN experience; automatic advancement from RN I after onboarding with requirements completed.

Responsibilities

• Provide ambulatory/outpatient nursing care: assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Collaborate with providers, clinical staff and resources to deliver evidence-based care.
• Support preventive care, chronic disease management, patient education and care coordination.
