Job summary

The Rector & Visitors of the University of Virginia is seeking a capable nurse to join our ambulatory care team. The role centers on direct patient care within an interdisciplinary environment, developing and implementing treatment plans with patients and families, and advancing clinical practice through feedback and collaboration.

Qualified candidates will be a graduate of an accredited nursing program, BSN within 5 years, RN license in Virginia, and AHA BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• BSN within 5 years of hire.
• Licensed to Practice as a Registered Nurse in Virginia.
• AHA Healthcare Provider BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Manage care and implement treatment plans with patients and families.
• Collaborate with physicians and health care team; seek feedback for practice improvement.
• Demonstrate leadership in mentorship and governance where applicable.
