Orlando Health, Inc. is seeking an RN for Ambulatory Care at the Lake Mary Imaging Center in Oviedo, FL. The role involves direct patient care, care coordination, patient education, and contributing to quality outcomes in an ambulatory setting.

The position requires Florida RN licensure, BLS, and area-specific certifications with a focus on safety, evidence-based practice, and teamwork; experience in ambulatory care is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Meets all mandatory, developmental, and performance competency requirements for Orlando Health and unit/department.
• One year of experience required unless approved by director level or above.
• Maintains current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida or Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
• Maintains current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.
• ACLS, NRP, PALS, and TNCC are required for certain areas.

Responsabilités

• Promotes wellness, restores health, and supports end-of-life care in ambulatory settings.
• Precepts new hires as a clinical resource.
• Assesses patient needs and develops individualized care plans based on evidence-based nursing practice.
• Provides care appropriate to the age of patients served on the unit.
• Documents patient care, education, medications, treatments, and safety measures.
• Delegates tasks to healthcare team members according to patient needs and staff capabilities.
• Maintains safe, caring environments and integrates patient and family education throughout care.
