This role places you at the heart of a mission-driven team providing primary and outpatient care to Native communities across three clinic sites — Crownpoint Healthcare Facility, Thoreau Health Center, and Pueblo Pintado Health Center. • Coordinate with interdisciplinary care teams — including physicians, specialists, and support staff — to ensure continuity and quality of patient care
  • Apply culturally sensitive practices that reflect respect for American Indian and Alaska Native traditions, values, and healthcare perspectives
  • Adhere to infection control procedures, proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and all patient safety standards
  • Participate in orientation activities and remain current with facility policies, Joint Commission standards, CMS requirements, and AAAHC guidelines

  • Willingness to perform services at any of the three Crownpoint Service Unit sites (Crownpoint, Thoreau, or Pueblo Pintado, NM) as operationally required
  • Familiarity with HIPAA, the Privacy Act of 1974, and federal healthcare compliance requirements
  • Availability to work standard clinic hours (Monday–Friday, approximately 7:30 AM–4:00 PM or 8:00 AM–4:30 PM) in accordance with facility scheduling needs
What sets candidates apart:
  • Prior experience providing nursing care in an Indian Health Service, tribal health, or Federally Qualified Health Center setting
