Job summary

MLK Community Healthcare in Los Angeles seeks an Outpatient Clinical Operations Supervisor to oversee day-to-day operations of ambulatory clinics, ensuring high-quality, compliant patient care and efficient service delivery across assigned sites.

The role requires RN licensure, 2+ years supervisory experience, BLS/ACLS, and bilingual Spanish/English; you will lead staff, manage budgets, collaborate with physicians, and advance patient experience.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in nursing required; Bachelor's degree or professional certification preferred.
• Current Basic Life Support for Providers (BLS) from AHA.
• Advanced Life Support certification (ACLS) from AHA.
• Registered Nurse with at least 2 years of clinical experience in a hospital, clinic, home care, nursing home setting or health facility within the last 5 years.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory or management experience in a health care setting.
• Strong observation, verbal and written communication skills; highly organized and able to work independently.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, EMR systems; able to learn new applications easily.
• Bi-lingual in Spanish and English required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise operations and delivery of patient care services.
• Ensure care quality compliant with Nurse Practice Act and regulations.
• Collaborate with physicians and other departments to resolve issues.
• Monitor budgets, resources, and financial performance to reduce costs.
• Maintain staff competency and development; conduct regular meetings.
• Assist in hiring, orientation, training and supervision of staff.
