Harris Health is hiring an Ambulatory Care Nurse Manager to oversee the operation and clinical care across one or more clinics in the Houston area. Role includes staff coaching, quality oversight, and HR responsibilities within the Nursing Professional Practice Model.

Requirements include a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Texas license, and certification within 2 years; a Master’s degree is preferred. Minority language skills (Spanish) are valued for patient communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing required; Master’s preferred.
• Texas nursing license required; certification in nursing specialty and/or nursing administration within 2 years of appointment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operational management and care delivery for one or more clinic areas.
• Manage human resources, quality, and financial aspects of the assigned clinic(s)/area(s).
• Coach and mentor nursing staff in Nursing Professional Practice Model guided practices.
• Collaborate with clinic leadership to implement plans, policies and standards.
• Ensure compliance with professional nursing standards and regulatory requirements.
