Joint Commission International is seeking a Surgeon or anesthesiologist with ambulatory care experience to serve as an Ambulatory Care Surveyor. The role involves surveying ambulatory and imaging centers, applying systems analysis to identify compliance gaps and opportunities for improvement, and communicating results to organizational leadership.

Ideal candidates hold an MD/DO, board certification, and a CPHQ certification (or within one year).

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree or equivalent required.
• Board Certification with minimum 5 years in ambulatory care.
• CPHQ certification required by hire or within 1 year.

Responsabilités

• Survey ambulatory organizations nationwide within Joint Commission Ambulatory Programs.
• Apply systems analysis and inductive reasoning to assess compliance and care delivery systems.
• Prepare management reports linking deficiencies to risk points.
• Communicate findings to leadership in a constructive, collaborative manner.
• Travel nationwide 100% of work time.
