Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist to deliver nutrition education and counseling to clinic patients and groups. The RD will assess nutritional needs for outpatients and develop comprehensive nutrition care plans.

The role includes creating educational materials for patients and professionals, participating in public programs, and monitoring patient nutrition to support medical goals.

Qualifications

• Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist (IDFPR) in Illinois
• Registered Dietitian (RD) - Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
• Bachelor's Degree: Related Field (Required)

Responsibilities

• Provide nutrition services and medical nutrition therapy integrated with the patient's medical goals.
• Identify and provide age-specific nutrition counseling to meet the cultural needs of patients and families.
• Evaluate, interpret, monitor and document nutritional status and needs using established standards of care.
• Develop, review and implement educational materials for patients and professionals.
• Participate in the scheduled test tray program.
• Assist with in-service training for diet office personnel and staff.
• Assist in development of patient education materials.
• Provide continual monitoring of patients to ensure quality nutrition care services.
