Job summary

The ideal candidate will hold a current RN license, a BSN or progress toward one, and have at least one year of RN experience.

Qualifications

• Must have RN licensure.
• BSN or degree in progress strongly preferred; BSN may be required for specific assignments.
• One-year RN experience or completion of Legacy Health RN Residency or equivalent.
• Experience requirements may vary by department.
• Demonstrated ability of positive interpersonal and communication skills with patients, families and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care within an assigned department or unit.
• Collaborates as part of the health care team under the direction of the clinical manager or designee.
• Adheres to the Standards and Scope of Practice for Registered Nurses.
• Performs all aspects of the nursing process: assesses, analyzes, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care.
• Follows established Legacy Health standards, including patient assessment protocols and patient transfer procedures.
