Job summary

Mass General Brigham's Heart & Vascular Institute at BWH is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider Leader for ambulatory cardiology. The role focuses on clinical leadership, patient care, and program development across the APP team at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital main campus.

The position requires a PA with leadership experience in cardiology, masther’s degree, MA PA license, and DEA registration, and offers a strong pathway for professional growth within our expansive cardiovascular program.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree as Physician Assistant (required).
• Current MA Physician Assistant license and DEA registration.
• Minimum 5+ years of advanced practice provider experience in cardiology.
• Substantial leadership experience in ambulatory cardiovascular care.
• Cardiovascular nursing or cardiology-related certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directly oversee and manage the performance of ambulatory cardiology APPs.
• Hire, onboard, train, and schedule APP team members.
• Provide coaching and professional development support.
• Develop strategic plans for ambulatory cardiology APP practice and care delivery.
• Ensure staffing coverage and daily clinical operations for the APP team.
• Monitor productivity, patient access, scheduling, quality metrics, and outcomes.
• Collaborate with cardiologists, nursing, pharmacy, and care coordination teams.
