Job summary

Orlando Health is seeking a BE/BC Anesthesiologist to join our Ambulatory Anesthesiology team supporting multiple specialty ambulatory surgery centers. You will work with a collaborative group of anesthesiologists and advanced practice providers to deliver safe, up-to-date care and support Orlando Health’s mission.

The case mix includes GI, Bariatrics, Plastics, ENT, Urology, Spine, Orthopedics, and more across several ASC locations in Florida.

Qualifications

• Must have MD or DO with completion of an ACGME- or AOA-accredited Anesthesiology Residency program.
• Board eligible or board certified in Anesthesiology.
• Must hold, or be able to obtain, an active Florida medical license prior to start.
• Not a J-1 sponsored position.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a collaborative member of the anesthesiology department, working closely with surgeons, nurses, and other medical professionals.
• Partner closely with surgeons and administration.
• Evaluate and formulate the anesthetic plan for patients undergoing surgical and/or diagnostic care.
• Provide supervision/medical direction of certified anesthetists delivering anesthesia.
• Personally administer anesthesia intraoperatively, with continuous monitoring of vital signs and titration of anesthesia as needed.
