Job summary
MedStar Health Anesthesiology, part of MedStar Health, seeks an experienced anesthesiologist to join its ambulatory surgery center float team. You will provide anesthesia across six premier centers in Maryland, DC, and northern Virginia, collaborating with surgeons, CRNAs/CAAs, and perioperative staff.
The role offers a mix of solo and medically directed cases, a premium base salary with bonus eligibility, and comprehensive benefits.
Qualifications
- MD/DO from an accredited medical school.
- Completion of an accredited anesthesiology residency.
- Board Certified in Anesthesiology by ABA.
- Eligible for unrestricted medical licensure in the state of practice.
- Regional anesthesia expertise, including proficiency with peripheral nerve blocks.
- Three or more years of anesthesiology experience post residency.
Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia across six premier surgery centers in MD, DC, and northern VA.
- Collaborate with surgeons, CRNAs/CAAs, and perioperative staff.
- Balance solo and medically directed cases.
