Job summary

This is an Hourly/Non-Exempt position offering hands-on work in a maintenance environment, with duties ranging from PMIs to minor engine and electrical repairs. The role requires a valid driver’s license and the ability to work in varied conditions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record required.
• 2+ years automotive or diesel repair experience OR technical certification required.
• Basic diagnostic capability required.
• Must possess personal tools sufficient to perform job duties.

Responsibilities

• Conduct preventive maintenance inspections (PMIs).
• Perform brake repairs, suspension work, steering component repair, and minor engine work.
• Diagnose routine mechanical issues using diagnostic tools.
• Repair lighting systems and minor electrical components.
• Complete accurate service documentation.
• Maintain compliance with manufacturer and regulatory standards.
• Support roadside repairs when necessary.
