Job summary

EMS Unlimited is an exciting, growing and professional provider of many EMS related services such as Wildland & Disaster Response, Special Event Medical, EMS staffing, EMS training and ambulance transport. We are seeking motivated and positive professionals who understand the importance of positivity, optimism, teamwork and continuous improvement.

The CPR Driver operates the ambulance and supports the transport crew on inter-facility (IFT) and emergency calls.

Qualifications

• Minimum age of 21
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Current CPR certification – we are able to help you obtain this
• Able to lift and move patients with a partner
• Able to work nights, weekends and holidays
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to learn

Responsibilities

• Safely drive the ambulance to and from calls, hospitals and facilities
• Assist the crew with lifting, moving and loading patients and the stretcher
• Carry and set up equipment on scene as directed
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues
• Clean, disinfect and restock the ambulance and equipment
• Keep the station clean and ready for service
• Communicate professionally with patients, families, dispatch and facility staff
• Take part in ongoing training
