Job summary

Amazon DSP Delivery Driver position in California is a full-time role based at Santa Ana. Earn a base rate of $23.50 per hour with overtime opportunities and a retention bonus program. The shift runs 10:30 am to 9:00 pm daily, four days a week with weekend availability, and drivers operate branded delivery vans with provided uniforms and devices.

Excellent compensation includes a $100 weekly performance kicker and a $150 referral bonus. Training is provided; EEO applies.

Amazon DSP Delivery Driver - Full Time.

Amazon DSP Delivery Driver:

(Must Be 21 Years of Age):

• FULL-TIME delivery driver positions are available.
• Overtime rate of time and a half after 8 hours in a day and 40 hours in a week.
• Weekly Safety and Quality Bonuses Year-Round.

The Pay & Bonus Breakdown:

• Base Rate: $23.50 / hour.
• Daily Overtime Opportunities: $35.25 / hour (Earn time-and-a-half after 8 hours in a workday and 40 hours in a workweek).
• Up to $1,000 Milestone Retention Bonus: Paid out in distinct stages based on continuous employment and basic attendance reliability:
  • Milestone 1: $250.00 after your first 30 days of active employment.
  • Milestone 2: $250.00 following Black Friday / Cyber Week operations.
  • Milestone 3: $500.00 upon completing the seasonal contract through January 15.
• (Note: A formal, written milestone bonus policy document will be provided upon hire, which explicitly details all retention criteria, program guidelines, and the corresponding payroll payout schedule).
• $100 Weekly Performance Kicker: Tracked weekly based on safety and "Fantastic Plus" metrics, paid out directly on your bi-weekly payroll checks.
• $150 Referral Bonuses: Bring your friends along for the holiday rush.

Summary:

• Amazon Warehouse Location - DLX8 - 515 E Dryer Rd, Santa Ana CA.
• Hours: 10:30 am - 9:00 pm daily.
• 4 days a week for FT. (3 days Mon-Fri & 1 day on the weekend).
• Must be able to work Saturday or Sunday.

Description:

Looking for motivated, reliable, and hardworking individuals to deliver packages to Amazon customers. Becoming a successful delivery driver means you're willing to put safety and customer service first! All drivers are supplied with Amazon-branded uniforms, and handheld equipment and will operate a branded delivery van.

General Responsibilities:

• The driver's main objective is prompt, safe, & accurate deliveries.
• Follow all written and verbal instructions from supervisors to ensure the above-mentioned goal is always met.
• Successfully handling and delivering packages on time.
• Safely drive and perform safety inspections on company vehicles; follow all local & state laws, road/driving regulations, and company policies.
• Provide excellent customer service and satisfaction despite stressful events/conditions.
• Keep pace in a physically demanding job; work in all weather conditions; lift packages (up to 50 lbs.); get in and out of a van repeatedly throughout the day at variable locations.
• Communicate effectively with the support team to provide exceptional customer service and ensure deliveries are completed.
• Use a smartphone device for GPS Navigation, scanning packages, conducting administrative requirements such as clocking in/out, and communicating with supervisors and other team members.
• Load and unload packages in the delivery vehicle.
• Support the team in daily work requirements including participation in rescue calls when other team members need assistance with their routes.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have held a state driver's license for at least 2 years.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Must pass a 4-Panel Drug Screening.
• Must have a clean motor vehicle report. (Multiple violations can disqualify you from the position).
• Must have good English speaking, reading, writing/communication skills.

Preferred:

(Not Required):

• Previous delivery experience (i.e. Postmates, Doordash, Flex, Amazon, UPS, Fed-Ex, etc.).
• Previous transportation experience. (i.e. Uber, Lyft, etc.).
• Bilingual.
