Job summary

Hotel ZaZa in Austin, TX is seeking a kitchen porter to wash and clean all cookware, china, and glassware in accordance with hotel standards. The role includes maintaining a clean washing area and properly storing cleaned items within the kitchen.

Essential duties cover cleaning pots and pans, keeping the area organized, and performing additional tasks as assigned to support food and beverage operations under humidity and temperature exposure. Indoor hotel environment.

Essential Functions:

• Cleans pots, pans and all other cookware utensils.

Tools and Equipment:

• Coffee maker/urn, beverage machines, bus trays, dishware, silverware, glassware, queen-mary cart, broom, mop, bucket, cart.

Working Environment:

• Interior of hotel, in all Food and Beverage areas, with exposure to humidity and extreme temperatures.
• Exposure to Food and Beverage hazardous cleaning chemicals.
• Exposure to food items and beverages.
