Job summary

Meadowbrook Care Facility is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide skilled nursing care and coordinate with the healthcare team for the safety and well-being of residents.

You will lead nursing interventions, document care plans, and work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare setting while ensuring high-quality residents’ care and safety.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nursing License in Wisconsin is required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
• Commitment to providing high-quality nursing care.

Responsibilities

• Assist with resident admissions and discharges
• Complete accident/incident reports and follow-up investigations
• Transcribe physician orders and accurately document resident information
• Notify physicians and families as needed regarding resident status
• Review medication orders for accuracy and completeness
• Prepare and administer medications as ordered
• Participate in care planning and care conferences, updating plans as needed
• Develop and maintain good working relationships with all disciplines
• Participate in continuing education and professional development
• Learn and adapt to Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems as required
• Interact tactfully with personnel, residents, families, visitors, and regulatory agencies
• Perform additional duties as assigned by Nursing Director or Administrator
