Job summary

The Facilities Group National is seeking a diligent Janitor for the AM shift in Joliet, IL. This full-time role focuses on keeping client facilities clean and well-maintained, with responsibilities ranging from general cleaning to trash removal and restroom upkeep.

Ideal candidates will have basic cleaning experience, be comfortable with cleaning products, and be able to work independently or with a team. E-Verify work eligibility is required, and health/vision/Life/401k benefits are provided

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Ability to manage time efficiently.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. – E-Verify.

Responsibilities

• General cleaning of the building and keeping it maintained.
• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors.
• Cleaning and stocking restrooms.
• Empty trash and recycling bins.
• Remove debris and snow from sidewalks.
• Ensure doors are locked after hours.
• Clean up spills with appropriate equipment.
• Notify supervisors or managers of major repairs.
• Complete tasks in a timely manner with minimal supervision.
• Keep cleaning supplies in stock.
• Work with a contract cleaning service when necessary.
• Other responsibilities as assigned by your supervisor.
