Job summary

Little Sisters of the Poor, St. Joseph’s Home (Louisville) is seeking a housekeeping associate to clean resident rooms, bathrooms, offices, chapel and common areas. Shift is 6:30am-3:00pm with every other weekend off.

• High School Graduate preferred or with housekeeping experience.
• Able to speak, understand, read and write English.

Responsibilities

• Clean resident rooms, bathrooms, offices, chapel and common areas (dusting, mopping, vacuuming, trash, restocking).
• Report changes in resident physical, emotional or mental status.
• Handle cleaning agents safely per directions.
• Follow safety and infection control policies; monitor pest control.
• Monitor housekeeping supply usage and replacements; participate in education programs.
