Job summary

Miraval Arizona Resort and Spa is seeking a part-time AM Restaurant Server to deliver mindful, high-touch service in a serene dining environment in Tucson, AZ. You will guide guests through their culinary journey with knowledge of our curated menu and beverages, while maintaining exceptional hospitality and attention to detail.

Two years’ experience in full-service settings is preferred; proficiency with POS systems and wine/liquor service is desirable.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years’ experience in a full-service restaurant; luxury resort experience preferred.
• Proficiency with POS systems and related technology.
• Strong communication and guest relation skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift light loads.
• Knowledge of coffee, beer, wine, and premium liquor service.

At Miraval Arizona, our Restaurant Servers play a vital role in delivering a serene and enriching dining experience that reflects our commitment to mindfulness, wellness, and exceptional hospitality. This position is responsible for guiding guests through their culinary journey with grace, attentiveness, and deep knowledge of our thoughtfully curated food and beverage offerings.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of tables within assigned section, reflecting Miraval’s standards of excellence
• Attend and actively participate in daily pre‑shift meetings to align with team goals and service expectations
• Share guest feedback—both positive and constructive—with leadership to support continuous improvement
• Demonstrates adaptability and a collaborative spirit by supporting various Food and Beverage operations as needed, including restaurant service and banquet functions
• Accepts and fulfills additional responsibilities as assigned by leadership, acknowledging that duties may evolve and are not limited to those listed.

Qualifications

• A sincere desire to anticipate and fulfill the needs of others in a fast-paced, high-touch setting
• Refined verbal communication skills that foster clarity, warmth, and connection
• Minimum of two years’ experience in a full-service restaurant; fine dining or luxury resort experience strongly preferred
• Proficiency with Point-of-Sale (POS) systems and related technology
• Strong working knowledge of coffee, beer, wine, and premium liquor service, with the ability to make thoughtful recommendations
• Physical stamina to lift and carry moderate weight as needed throughout service
• Ability to remain on feet for extended periods while maintaining a poised and professional demeanor
