Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related professional qualification.
• Solid understanding of engineering systems and function at component and system levels.
• Knowledge of AM processes is a must.
• Knowledge of heat transfer, residual stresses, materials behavior in AM.

Responsibilities

• Develop advanced AM processes and procedures for various materials.
• Collaborate with equipment designers and other engineers on project plans.
• Operate and maintain AM equipment such as cold spray, friction stir, and wire-DED.
• Adjust variables in AM processes to improve builds and create new ones.
• Evaluate test data and troubleshoot processes and equipment.
• Build reports in Excel/PowerPoint/Word to summarize project efforts.
• Maintain documentation conforming to AS9100D requirements.
