Job summary

Washington Elementary School seeks a High Impact Tutoring Grant AM Lead Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. This position oversees daily program operations, attendance, timesheets, and student placement in AM classes for grades 3-5, with a 3:1 student-to-teacher ratio.

AM sessions run Tue, Wed, Thu; collaboration with administration and data coaches to support high-impact instruction. Must hold a valid teaching certificate in ELA or Math; NJ Principal/Supervisor Certification preferred;

Qualifications

• Knowledge and understanding of student learning standards.
• Must be a teacher/coach at the listed school during the day.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the program including attendance, timesheets, covering for absent staff, and student placement in AM classes.
• Notify families of student absences and assist with dismissal of the program.
• Collaborate with administration and data coaches to implement high impact instruction and oversee pre/post assessments.
