Homestead Health Care in Utica, MI is seeking compassionate caregivers for a short morning shift (7:00 AM to 11:00 AM). You will assist residents with daily living activities, provide companionship, and help maintain a safe environment.

The ideal candidate has experience with the elderly, strong communication, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Weekend availability is required; reliable transportation and a valid ID are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• HS diploma or GED required.
• Able to pass a criminal background check.
• Experience working with the elderly.
• Able to lift 50 pounds.
• Every other weekend is required.
• Reliable transportation and valid ID/driver's license.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and to arrive on time for every shift.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and incontinence care.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to residents.
• Maintain a clean environment, including light housekeeping.
• Report any changes in residents' condition to the supervisor.
• Communicate professionally with families, support services, and coworkers.
• Follow safety and infection control procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Homestead Health Care is seeking compassionate and experienced Caregivers to provide care to our residents in Utica, MI.

The Caregiver will assist residents with activities of daily living and provide companionship and emotional support. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others, possess excellent communication skills, and foster genuine relationships with seniors.

Hiring immediately! This a short shift from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM

Responsibilities:

• Assisting clients with activities of daily living, specifically but not limited to bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, incontinence care, etc.
• Providing companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Maintaining the cleanliness of the environment which may include light housekeeping.
• Reporting any changes in the resident's condition to the supervisor.
• Communicate in a professional manner with families, support services, and coworkers of Homestead.
• Comply with all safety and health standards, including infection control procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
