Job summary

The University of Kansas Health System's Alzheimer’s Disease Center (ADRC) seeks a Clinical Research Assistant to support entry-level clinical research activities. You will work with multidisciplinary teams to recruit participants, conduct consent interviews, collect data, and manage regulatory files within ADRC SOPs.

This hybrid, full-time position involves handling study visits, data entry, and coordinating with sponsors and CROs to ensure timely, accurate documentation across multiple studies.

Qualifications

• Two years of relevant work experience; education may be substituted for experience on a year-for-year basis.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Certifications in clinical research (CCRP, CCRC, ACRP) are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and educate potential research participants and evaluate eligibility for studies.
• Conduct Informed Consent Interviews with participants and study partners.
• Obtain medical records as needed.
• Collect, process, handle, and ship biological specimens per protocol and policy.
• Assist in collection of study data under supervision.
• Track and document study activities promptly and accurately.
• Assist with study supply inventory and visit scheduling.
• Enter data into sponsor databases within required timeframes.
• Maintain regulatory documents in Investigator Site Files.
