Position Summary
LNP Media Group, publisher ofLNPandLancasterOnline, is seeking motivated, curious and collaborative journalism interns to join our editorial team for Spring 2027.
This paid, 12-week internship provides emerging journalists with hands‑on experience in a professional newsroom serving Lancaster County. Interns will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced journalists while developing their reporting, writing, interviewing, editing and storytelling skills.
Spring 2027 interns may work with ournews, features or sports teams, based on their interests, experience and newsroom needs. Interns will contribute meaningful work from the start and gain exposure to the fast-paced, deadline-driven environment of local journalism.Essential Duties & Responsibilities

News:Cover breaking news, local government, public safety, community issues and other stories affecting Lancaster County.
Features:Develop human-interest, lifestyle, entertainment, culture and community-focused stories that showcase the people and experiences of Lancaster County.
Sports:Report on local sports, including high school and community athletics, through game coverage, features, interviews and other sports-related assignments.

This is afull-time, 12-week paid internshipbeginning in early February and concluding in late April 2027. Interns are paid$15.00 per hour. Because journalism does not always occur during traditional business hours, schedules may vary depending on the assigned department and coverage needs. Some evening or weekend assignments may be required. This position isnot remote. Interns must be located in Lancaster County during the internship.Free housing will be providedfor interns who need accommodations during the program.
