Job summary

University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth seeks hourly tutors to support current UNT Health students. You will conduct one-on-one, small group, and drop-in tutoring, in-person or online, and maintain session records. The role requires regular email monitoring and adherence to CAP policies.

Work is performed within Texas for the duration of employment. The position offers a flexible schedule, up to 19 hours per week, and a focus on helping students achieve academic goals

Qualifications

• Successfully graduated from a program at UNT Health (degree must be verified within 14 days of the employee's start date).
• Graduated with a 3.0 cumulative GPA or higher from UNT Health.
• In good academic standing during time at UNT Health (no instances of academic probation; or conduct sanctions).
• Compliant with all assigned institutional training in Bridge (no overdue items).

Responsibilities

• Monitor and respond to requests for tutoring.
• Host tutoring sessions in-person and/or virtually in one or more formats: one-on-one, small group, drop-in, large group tutorial (LGT).
• Document tutoring activities.
