# Aluminum Wheel Technician/Warehouse WorkerDistribution Center - Orange, MA 01364## OverviewSalary Range$19.00 - $21.00 Hourly## Description**Aluminum Wheel Technician/Warehouse Worker**Pete’s Tire Barns was started by Peter A. Gerry in 1968 and has grown to one of the largest independent tire dealerships in the country. Pete’s currently operates 22 full-service locations in New England, a state-of-the art Distribution Center, 3 Bandag retread facilities, employs in excess of 300 people, and operates a fleet of over 100 service and delivery vehicles. Today, approximately 90% of our business is in the commercial truck tire and related markets. Pete's services everything from a wheelbarrow tire up to an earthmover tire.**Aluminum Wheel Technician/Warehouse Worker Requirements:*** Operates two-wheel polishing machines* Loads, unloads and moves tires and similar product as needed* Operates a fork or clamp truck to move product* Attention to detail, ability to be able to work at one position, standing for longer periods of time, work independently and be flexible* Language skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals* Basic mathematical skills* Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in writing, oral or diagram form* Computer skills: Basic computer skills; training will be provided as needed* Equipment: Capable of operating a sprayer**Aluminum Wheel Technician/Warehouse Worker Benefits:*** Health Insurance* Dental Insurance* 401k – Pete’s match .25% up to 6% employee contribution* Vacation – 2 weeks* 15k Life Insurance – additional coverage may be purchased**Physical Demands:**Exerts 75 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
