Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a skilled Aluminum Welder / Fabricator to join our production team in Michigan. You will read blueprints, cut raw materials, and use TIG and MIG welding to build aluminum products with precision.

The role requires 2–3 years of aluminum welding experience, the ability to read complex drawings, and proficiency with grinders and calipers. Candidates must lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods for daily operations.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years aluminum welding experience.
• Proficient in TIG and MIG welding on aluminum gauges.
• Ability to read and interpret complex drawings and welding symbols.
• Proficient with grinders, calipers, and squares.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Weld aluminum assemblies using TIG (GTAW) and MIG (GMAW) processes.
• Fabricate components by cutting, burning, and shaping aluminum pieces.
• Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and welding symbols accurately.
• Fit and clamp components together to prepare for welding.
• Inspect finished welds for cracks, defects, or spatial deviations.
• Operate shop equipment safely, including brake presses, shears, and band saws.
• Maintain equipment and report any mechanical malfunctions immediately.
