Job summary

Fincantieri ACE Marine, a Fincantieri Marine Group company, is seeking a Fabricator II in Green Bay, WI. The role is in the Manufacturing department on 1st shift, Mon-Thu, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM, focusing on aluminum component assembly and welding to close tolerances.

The candidate will read engineering drawings, select proper welding methods, and ensure quality through self-inspection and proper prep.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience with welding aluminum using GMAW/GTAW processes.
• Ability to fit and weld components to close tolerances.
• Knowledge of metallurgy and welding processes recommended.
• Proficiency with rigging and overhead crane operations is desired.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and weld aluminum components per drawings and specs.
• Set up welding equipment and maintain cleanliness and quality standards.
• Inspect welds for defects and correct as needed to meet specs.
• Operate and troubleshoot MIG/GTAW equipment and tools.
• Dismantle scrap and prepare parts for assembly as required.
• Adhere to all safety, environmental, and procedural guidelines.
