Job summary

Kurt Manufacturing in Fridley, MN seeks a Die Cast Technician to tend die casting machines that produce parts from nonferrous metals like aluminum. You will operate presses, inspect casts for defects, and perform basic maintenance to keep production running smoothly.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 month of related experience; NADCA Level I certification is preferred. Shift is 1st shift, 4:30am–3pm, Monday–Thursday, with starting pay between $20.26 and $27.01

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Tends to die casting machines, regulating flow and operation.
• Inspects casts for defects and may measure dimensions.
• Operates trim presses and related tooling to finish parts.
• May use forklifts to move materials and load/unload equipment.
• Keeps machines clean and performs basic preventive maintenance.
