Qualifications

• Operate and monitor continuous casting equipment and auxiliary production equipment.
• Interpret operating information and recognize conditions requiring adjustment.
• Inspect cast aluminum strip using visual and measurement techniques.
• Record production and operating information accurately.

Responsibilities

• Direct and assist in setting up casters, trough and tips for casting.
• Monitor temperature and alloy of metal in furnaces and take samples as required.
• Operate coil sheer and rewind; check sheet quality with measuring tools.
• Maintain production records and input data into computer systems.
• Maintain clean and orderly work area and support equipment readiness.
