Opti Staffing Group is seeking an experienced Aluminium Welder for a first-shift role in Washington. The job focuses on MIG and TIG welding of aluminum structures, with setup, welding, and the ability to read and interpret shop drawings.

The position requires 2+ years of aluminium welding experience, the ability to operate power tools, and to perform welding across multiple processes (GTAW/TIG, MIG/MAG, FCAW). A weld and math test, plus a background check, are required.

Responsibilities

• Create quality welds according to shop drawings.
• Perform GTAW, TIG, MIG, GMAW, FCAW, SMAW as needed.
• Select proper fillers based on project instructions.
• Inspect welds for accuracy.
• Prepare parts by grinding, drilling, milling, tapping, and cutting aluminium/steel.

Welding will be primarily on aluminium structures, welding steel is a plus. The right candidate will be able to set up, weld, and read shop drawings independently.
