Job summary

Masters Gallery Foods is seeking a quality control associate to monitor finished goods quality in a climate-controlled, smoke-free facility in Wisconsin. Work a 2-2-3 shift pattern from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM, with wage increases at 90 days and one year, plus a $2 shift differential.

You will perform finished product checks (leakers, weight, O2/CO2), verify labels and code dates, document non-conformances, and use the ERP system to place holds and manage holds.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of GMP requirements.
  • Some experience in food manufacturing, Quality Control or Quality Lab is desired.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time accordingly, and think ahead.
  • Good decision making regarding quality standards.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks based on risk and importance, multi-task and communicate results to supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Perform leaker and weight checks, O2 and CO2 checks, fines and shred analyses on finished product.
  • Monitor overall packaging and shred quality.
  • Verify that package labels, case labels, and film UPC scans are correct.
  • Verify code dates, formats and locations are correct.
  • Document non-conformances in Redzone under the production run and Compliance module.
  • Place product on hold using the ERP system.
  • Isolate non-conforming products.
  • Monitor the shelf-life program.
  • Assist Hold Coordinators.

Shift: 2-2-3 Rotation (2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on – rotating)
Hours: 6:00 PM- 6:00AM

Under the supervision of the Quality Supervisor, you will be responsiblefor monitoring finished goods quality control.

How You Will Contribute to our Legacy of Excellence:
  • Perform leaker and weight checks, O2 and Co2 checks, fines and shred analyses on the finished product as needed.
  • Monitor overall packaging and shred quality.
  • Verify that package labels, case labels, and film UPC scans are correct.
  • Verify that code dates, code date formats, and code date locations are correct.
  • Document detailed non-conformances in Redzone under the production run and Compliance module.
  • Perform pizza bakes on specified items.
  • Perform shred, dice, and cubes approvals.
  • Place product on hold using the ERP system.
  • Isolate non-conforming products.
  • Monitor the shelf-life program.
  • Assist the Hold Coordinators.
What You Have to Offer:
