Responsibilities

• Plans a program of study that positively impacts student behavior and addresses academic needs.
• Assists in the development, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of a Student Service Plan for each student.
• Plans instruction that motivates students, with emphasis on their needs, interests, and abilities.
• Employs a variety of instructional techniques and tools aligned to students’ needs.
• Encourages students to take responsibility for their actions.
• Maintains accurate, complete, and timely records as required by the Principal.
• Makes provisions to be available to students and parents beyond the school day when needed.
• Coordinates efforts related to the Student Service Plan with social service agencies and the court system.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Principal.
