Job summary

Nordstrom in Palm Desert, CA is seeking a Tailor/Fitter who delivers high-quality alterations and attentive service. You will measure customers, perform fittings, and complete sewing alterations to Nordstrom standards.

You'll meet productivity goals, use store tech to track requests, and educate customers on fit and trends. A flexible schedule and hands-on sewing/pressing work are part of the daily routine in this on-site role.

Qualifications

• Previous fitting, tailoring, and sewing experience, preferred minimum of 2-3 years
• Clear, professional communication with coworkers and customers
• The ability to stay organized and prioritize multiple tasks and customer requests in a fast-paced environment
• A willingness to learn, and safely operate sewing and pressing machinery, and standard alterations equipment
• The ability to embrace a flexible working schedule based on business needs

Pay Range Details

Pay offers are dependent on the location, as well as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

$23.75 - $41.25 Hourly
