Job summary

UniFirst is seeking a reliable Production Team Partner to join our Alterations & Mending Department. You will work as a team to ensure garments are in exceptional condition through quality inspection and garment mending.

Qualifications

• High school education and/or GED equivalent preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to stand for an 8-hour shift.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly with management.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical operations using US customary units.

Responsibilities

• Receive all mending work orders and garments from Route Sales and finishing area.
• Repair defects in garments using the correct mending procedures promptly.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Complete paperwork and records in a timely manner.
• Follow all safety policies, HACCP, and medical guidelines.
• Perform other duties as described by area supervisor or management.
