Alterations Customer Service Representative

Position Overview

We are seeking talented CSRs to support our growth in the Alterations department, aiming for this segment to comprise 25% of our sales within 2-4 years. Ideal candidates are self-motivated, outgoing, excellent communicators, and thrive in fast-paced environments. If you enjoy helping customers prepare for their special days and want a competitive income, consider joining our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welcome customers warmly via phone, chat, and in person, demonstrating clear communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Manage customer flow using all systems to ensure a five-star experience.
  • Provide exceptional service, address concerns confidently, and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Promote alterations services and customization options.
  • Maintain store standards and dress code, ensuring a clean and organized environment.
  • Assist with garment pressing, steaming, and quality inspections to ensure pristine condition.
  • Build customer loyalty through relationship management.
  • Support inventory and transaction processes accurately.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Physical & Educational Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years retail experience, preferably in apparel or specialty stores.
  • Prior sewing experience is beneficial.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, lifting up to 10 pounds, and using computers and POS systems.
